Sarah Sevier was born February 3,1983, in Little Rock Arkansas. Her mother started an inner city non-profit organization in North Little Rock, East Gate Terrace Housing Project when Sarah was five years old. From five until thirteen, Sarah spent all of her free time, and most holidays at the housing projects with her family. At thirteen Sarah moved to Memphis Tennessee where she was chosen as a delegate to Anytown diversity camp run by The National Conference for Community and Justice(NCCJ). Sarah then became an NCCJ camp counselor for three summers and at 19 was hired as a Administrative Assistant and Youth Programmer for the Memphis Regional NCCJ office. Sarah has volunteered with her mother in various non-profit organizations including The Shepard's School, for low-income families with learning disabled children, The Learning Disablity Association of the Mid-South, and The Brain Injury Association of the Mid-South. Sarah will be graduating from the Maryland Institute College of Art in December 2006 with an undergradute degree in Fiber.
